Tackle Football

Kyle played tackle football for the first time this year. It has been a wonderful experience for all of us.  Kyle has really enjoyed the camaraderie of new relationships and has been able to participate valuably.  He has played mainly defensive end and enjoyed getting to sack the quarterback and stop some runs for no yards. The coach told us he was by far the most improved player and that he has totally surprised them in his abilities.

 

His coach has a lot of experience and has really taught these boys a lot. So cool to see how well they play as a team!  I am not sure he will ever be able to recreate this first season of 4 wins, two ties, getting his team chosen to play the all-star game, and getting to scrimmage at the halftime of a panther game.  It might be all downhill from here actually...

 

More than anything, Kyle has LOVED tackle football.  He truly loves to go to practice and play. I as a mom have to tell you that I have loved watching him play. I am actually sad to see it come to an end after next week!  Even if it is a lot of time.
