Flag Football

Conner has really enjoyed playing flag football this year.  His team didm't win a single game (last year his little team was undefeated), but Conner had a wonderful experience none the less. His coach was a super great guy and he let the kids play every spot.  Conner got to run the ball, play quarterback, center, and all of the defensive positions. I think that was better than winning.

We also learned that Conner is actually a pretty fast runner.  And playing with his older brothers and friends has helped. Anyway, over the course of the season, Conner ran for three touchdowns.. All of them on first downs the full length of the football field.  For a younger brother in the shadow of an older brother sometimes, this was a BIG deal. He also got quite a few flags, as many as any other kid on his team.  All of these things helped with losing every game by A LOT.  Plus luckily at this age, if the coach doesn't clue them in, they don't always know they lost, lol!!!

Here are my pictures of Conner from the season.  Check out the action shot I got in the pouring rain, with Callie on my lap, and holding an umbrella! TOUCHDOWN CONNER!
