Well, we didn't carve pumpkins, but we did have a lot of fun dressing up for Halloween! It was the first year that Callie participated and it was lots of fun.. I would say it slowed down the trick or treating for the boys (don't worry they still got WAY TOO MUCH candy), but it was worth it.
Here are my trick or treaters:

My little cowgirl. Jim actually picked out this costume and he made such a good choice. She was just too cute. She really enjoyed the costume and the hat so we didn't even have to try to convince her to wear it!!!!

Conner was a mighty fine Bobba Fett!

Kyle was a desert commando. This was the largest kid size they make and it was almost too small. Luckily it wasn't too cold!!!!

Here is the double pumpkined Cowgirl again. This was just too cute. She has no idea what these are for, but if one is good then too is better.

All of them... I love memories like this!!! Too soon, Kyle won't want to trick or treat anymore. Time is going too fast!
We were ready a little early so we took the kids up to HYvee where they had trick or treating going on in the store. It was really quite fun and Callie's first introduction to this whole halloween thing.
It was cute. You started at the Italian Express where they gave you fortune cookies.

Then you headed to produce where they gave you an apple.

Then it was off to the deli for string Cheese. Now Callie was getting the idea! Then it was bakery for a cookie, meat department for pretzels, frozen for candy, seasonal for more candy, and customer service for stickers.

Then you ended up in the floral department for a balloon. It was quite fun for all of us, but especially to watch Callie start to figure this thing out.
Then we went home. Callie went to about 4 houses and then Jim brought her home to help hand out candy while the boys did the neighborhood. Then we headed out on our annual family and friend trek. Our neighborhood doesn't take all the time so we usually drive around and hit family and friends houses. Then we finally end up at Grandmas!

Here we are at Aunt Megan and Uncle Aaron's house.

Here we are trick or treating at the Searfoss house!

Finally we end up at Grandma and Grandpas where this cute little dinosaur joined us!!!! (Its my nephew Wyatt in case you didn't know).
