Busy but boring

Life has been very busy around here, but luckily rather boring too. For me this is a really good thing. Low stress, normal life is just what my life needed. Here's a bit of what we've been up to:

• The boys started piano. They both seem to love it.
• Jim went to Minneapolis for an architecture conference and was gone most of last week.
• We had a child dedication event at church last week which made life a little crazy!
• Callie is learning new words everyday. Funny all of the ways she communicates. While she can be a lot of work, she beings so much laughter to our house.
• Jim and I have finally saved enough (we think) to put a ceiling in our basement. I am trying to decide on what tile to use. It is like carpet...lots of choices that all look almost the same.
• We've been scoping out the black friday ads. Jim is wanting to spend his birthday money on a surround sound and I am thinking of spending my christmas money on a small television to be upstairs.

Honestly, that is all that has been going on. This weekend, we are taking the boys to the food bank to serve for a morning (broaden their horizons a bit) and then JIm and I have a sitter coming to have a long overdo date and maybe see the newest twilight movie!
