The first weekend in October, we got a chance to take the boys to their first NFL football game. We had such a good time. My boys are far from perfect, but they are excellent travelers and truly seem to enjoy every adventure we take them on. Their enjoyment makes it even more fun for me.
It was a little odd, of course, because we are Broncos fans (well Jim is and the rest kind of follow suit, but I doubt it will always be like that!). Anyway there weren't a ton of Broncos fans so we drew a lot of attention..pretty much people were always looking at us. All in all, though, the fans were super nice and offered to take pictures and chat with our boys and be generally welcoming!

They are just too cute...

Love this! Conner really didn't watch the game, but Kyle watched every single play (with the binoculars a lot). Kyle actually got annoyed when they did the wave and it went around the stadium like 7 times (think the packers fans were a little bored). How can you do the wave and watch the game he says???

Great memories!

At teh end of the game, we went down to see the field closer. Might as well explore rather than sit in traffic!

As we headed out of the stadium, you could see where the broncos buses were. They had a little area for the broncos to come out and see people. They weren't really social, but Matt Prater, who is the kicker, signed the boys tickets and got his picture taken with them. Kyle was a little disappointed because Tim Tebow came out into the area to talk to some people he knew, but didn't come around to sign autographs or meet people. Kyle was probably about 30 feet away. He did use his binocculars to get an up close look he said.
They really lost so don't imagine they were too cheery, but rarely do you get so close to a player without many fan s(probably only 3o standing around). Kyle understood why he didn't and was pretty pleased to meet Matt!
