It was a good weekend for us. Saturday, we spend the entire almost at sporting events, but the weather was fairly nice and we had a good time. It reminds me why I am a fan of getaways and vacations. At home, I am easily distracted from my kids by the computer, housework, and a million other things. However, we get out and about, I find myself more easily engaging. On Saturday, Kyle, Callie and I had a picinic in the car while Conner and Daddy got their pictures taken. That 45 minute picnic was such a good time.
Speaking of get aways, we have a big one this weekend. Jim, the boys, and I are going up to Lambeau field in Green Bay to watch the Broncos plays the Packers. I am looking forward to hanging out with my boys and while we all love Callie, it will be nice to focus on them without her needing our attention too (Callie is having a getaway with Grandma!).
It promises to be another busy week, with practices, work, and FX (plus I am playing a drama part in FX on Wednesday). SO today being a home day and doing things like organizing winter clothes and washing everyone's sheets is a good thing! I might even make some cupcakes... Well see..
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the last week or so...

Callie is really starting to have personality and she is pretty funny. Today she found the boys sunglasses and was having so much fun. Why she puts them on her neck I don't know, but she does! Anyway, it is interesting having a third personality to contend with. She is definitely unique. She loves people at church and will let almost anyone hold her. She loves to tell everyone we see at walmart Hi! Then she gives them her big cheesy grin. Her flirtaous ways are pretty cute, but we certainly hope she outgrows them by junior high!!!!

Despite our best attempts to talk him out of it, Kyle desperately wanted to play the cello. This week, his rental cello arrived and he had his first lesson. He is so excited about it. I do think if he had to play an instrument that I don't really mind the cello because atleast when he practices, it doesn't sound too bad!!!
