Baby Update

I am SOOO excited to share this with you....

Jim out of love for me knowing how badly I wanted to know the sex of the baby called this place in Des Moines that does elective ultrasounds. Just for you to see the baby extra if you want or for the sex of the baby. We just wondered how much it would cost to do it again and maybe have a better chance at knowing what this baby is. They do it for clinics and stuff too.

Jim found out that they did 2d scans where they give you a 99% guarantee on the sex of the baby. They said they will try as many times at no extra charge for you to see. So we were considering that and looking at dates. Then after asking Jim a lot of questions, she said that they actually had a special offer for us. They were conducting technician training on Sunday the 17th and if we were willing to do be a part of that process, we could have the 2D scan for 49.99 with the same efforts to find the sex of the baby. I said YES!!! Jim booked us an appointment for 3 p.m. on Sunday the 17th.

When he got off the phone, he shared the following details with me:
-They would actually do two 10 minute ultrasounds as a senior technician would do it first as a baseline sort of thing (so this would be what you would normally pay for). They they would do it all over again with a trainee as sort of a test/training session. Even though we paid for the 2d, depending on the trainee's needs, we might get a glimpse of the baby in 3D.
-we will get a dvd of the first session and 4 pictures of the baby
-we can bring the boys with us, they are welcome to come
-they still would do whatever they could to find out the sex of the baby (try to get it move etc regardless of time)

Can you believe that? I don't mind being for training and Conner will get to see. I know Kyle will love to see this and I can have a better chance at knowing what this baby is.. All for 50.00 plus gas..... We would spend that much on a family fun day!
