Well, there is no going back now....... Wowzers!
Other than working tonight, we had a relatively free day so we decided to go ahead and build the pantry in the kitchen. It was a little nerve racking as I kept second guessing the design and the plan as Jim built. It makes the kitchen seem smaller cozy for sure. I hope think the storage will be worth it.
Jim keeps reminding me that we still have the soffit blocking space, the hutch, and the office storage cabinet in here so I have to imagine what it will be like with all of that gone! Jim still has to actually install the door tomorrow, but then it is ready for drywall.
To get a better feel and to make more room for the table, I went ahead and moved my desk to its new location. I am not sure how long before the drywall guys will be able to fit us in and I had to have something to do while Jim finished up the closet huh? Eventually there will be a couple of purple cabinets hanging above the desk.
One good piece of news from the day is that I managed to save enough wall paper border to border the outside of the closet I think. It won't be perfect but should work...
Tomorrow unless we have unexpected events...Jim will install the door and we will take out the soffit. Then we can schedule the drywall guys.
Did I mention there is no going back now???????
