Playing at the park and lunch with Daddy!

We have really had a geat summer so far!  Hard to believe that we still have a couple of river weekends and a summer vacation to enjoy yet.  We also need to make a few more trips to the pool to pay for our summer pass! With family stuff, illness and swim lessons, we haven't been there for a couple of weeks. It is supposed to be hot the end of this week and Jim is swamped at work so the kids and I will probably knock out a couple of those pool trips this week yet!

Saturday night Daddy took us all to the movies to see Brave. We don't usually spurlge on movies, but we had been busy doing stuff and Daddy thought we should have a little treat (see what a fun summer!!!) Today we decided to go on a picinic and play at a park since it was nice but not horribly hot.  We planned to go to a park that was pretty close to Daddy's work so he could come join us. He only had a half hour of free time in his day, but it was fun none the less.

He is growing up too fast. There just aren't as many childhood memories of trips to the park and what not left with this one.  Lots of big boy things to do, but this is a season of life with him that I will miss very much!

My heart is treasuring all of the memories from this summer so far. The last couple of years haven't been our best, but this one seems to be making up for it tenfold!!! LOL
