Our Budding Artist or Not!

Conner loves to draw and create. Unfortunately being that Conner is only 6, he is still learning the fine art of picking up after himself (aren't we all? Ha!). The end result of this is that Callie sometimes gets lucky and finds markers or crayons within her reach.

Sometime last week, she was playing quietly in her room. She came out a few minutes later with her hands covered in blue marker and several marks on her clothing. I had this sinking feeling that going into her room was not going to make me happy!

And I was so right.. Callie had colored her walls (all of them), her toys, her rocker, her kitchen, herself and her dresser. Luckily it was a washable marker so most of it came out, but unfortunately not all of it. Since she went to so much work to decorate her room, I thought I should atleast share a few pictures of her artwork.


This is how it was on every wall. Can you see how she colored on the toys on the table? She got her toy kitchen as well. The only really sad part was that she also colored on the fabric on the rocker in her room.

This is on the footstool and she did the same on the rocker! Conner got in lots of trouble for leaving markers out and miss Callie got her first real spanking (to be honest, though, I don't think it would stop her if she got another marker...this was way to much fun for her!)

I think this sweet little girl is going to give us a run for our money!!!!!
