It is Christmas Time!

I have had my Christmas decorations up for quite awhile, but due to sickness haven't gotten this post up! Yes, we have been sick again. I will have to write off 2011 as the year of sickness for me! Geez!

Anyway, this year I decorated early because I really missed Christmas last year. I also got some new decorations to better compliment to my new living room furniture. I didn't spend a lot. Walmart had lots of cheap stuff this year along with Hobby Lobby and their sales. Plus I tried to be creative and reuse as much as I could!

Here is my upstairs tree. I went with white, brown, and a teal/blue color. I really like it. I am missing a tree topper. I couldn't totally decide what I wanted and the one I thought I wanted was more than I wanted to spend. So maybe I will get some ribbon and make a bow or Ill wait til next year (or maybe after Christmas sales).
I wanted a couple other things upstairs to go along with my angel and nativity so I used this bowl I had and added some leftover Christmas balls.
Then I took my normal dining room centerpiece removed the candles and added a few more Christmas bulbs. I was pretty pleased with how this all turned out!
Then I took some of the stuff I'd used upstairs (what I didn't reuse upstairs) and decorated downstairs for the first time. I love this greenery with red and white oranaments in it. I would've loved to have lighted it, but didn't want to spend the money on battery operated lights. We SOOO should've put a plug in here when we remodeled!
This is on my table downstairs! It was part of what was on the table upstairs last year!
Then we have a second tree downstairs. This one was decorated entirely by the boys with leftover oranaments, sentimental ones, and special ones the kids have made. It is not my favorite tree because it is too triangler, but the boys love the colored lights. It is nice to have a homey feel!
