In the midst of all of this we found out that Jim's parents weren't going to make it home on Monday due to the fog. It all worked out in the end. They drove home from Dallas arriving at 5 .am. on Tuesday morning.
Tuesday I ran checks to the salon, supplies to the church, and packed up to come home.
Today there was only school in the morning due to the storm, but I headed to the church in the morning. After church while Kyle had a friend over to visit, I did a bunch of work for church from home. After putting lasagna in the oven, I walked kyle's friend home. THey invited him to stay over there for a couple more hours. So I headed home for more paperwork.
Thursday is a home day which I think I need. I am just so tired and want to get some clean up done at home.
So an update on our small shopping trip to Des Moines. Our little girl had some Christmas money to spend so we helped her out. Plus Jim needed to pick out an outfit for her!
Last night I opened up our o to 3 month box to see if there was anything I could use for her. I did find three bibs and three sleepers that would work for sure. It was a bit sad to me to not use those clothes again. I forgot how cute they were (especially when they are attached to my boys and memories). Oh and I had several white onesies and a blanket that will totally work too. I probably have more blankets, but just need to go looking for those!
I think I realized last night that I need to focus more on the necessities like sleepers and less on the cute stuff. I have already gotten a gift for her. It was a couple of adorable summer outfits. Grandma got us a couple of sleepers. It really is almost like starting over for a new baby. We won't go crazy though... I promise even though it looks like it, I promise we won't!!!!

very cute.... I think Ainsley may have that pink and green flower sleeper in 6m size... if it's not exactly that one, it's very similar... Though I don't know how much I will be able to pass down (due to the fact that you have bigger babies and these girls are pretty close in age) I will have some girly sleepers that will for sure work... We'll talk soon...
