Easier than expected and girls day out!

First, an update about Callie's first night in her big girl bed. She went to bed just like normal last night (and tonight). She didn't once try to get up.

This morning, I heard her talking so I went in to remind her that she could get up and go to the potty when she woke up.  She told me she was stinky and she was.  She still managed a whole day dry today despite that. She did potty this afternoon with Grandpa watching her and she went potty in a public potty tonight (still a single one not multiple stalls, but it is a start!).

Today was our girl's day with Jim's family. It was a very lovely day. We had so much fun, the only issue was it wasn't long enough. We started the morning with shopping. I got a new shirt and a bead for my pandora bracelet (one to represent Kyle). We had lots of fun too helping each other shop.

Then we headed over to the Divine Medical Spa for lunch and an afternoon of pampering!!

This picture is missing my sister-in-law Katie and my mother in law, but my mother in law has that picture so this will have to do.  I got a pedicure and a wonderful massage along with time to read in their relaxation room. It was a wonderful Mommy day.

When I got home tonight, Jim took me out for supper to celebrate mother's day. Then he headed off to work on a friend's house. I tucked kids into bed and have been reading for awhile. Truth be told, though, I slept horribly last night so my plan after this post and a couple of other things is to go to bed.
