Getting Ready for Vegas and the Superbowl

In my last post, I mentioned how busy it has been around here. In fact, this week was my first day off in 2 weeks. Whoops! Guess, work and home got a little out of balance. Today has been a great day off and just what I needed.

It started last night when Jim and I sat down and decided what show to go see while we are in Vegas. There are tons of options, but we settled on LOVE BEATLES (we know a couple of people who have seen it and JIm loves music so happy compromise). Here is the link to the show so you can check it out. http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows/love/default.aspx We booked it for Sunday. We figured that Saturday, we will be busy resting up from getting in late and just exploring. Then we might have a spa day on Monday (still undecided on that) and then Tuesday is Valentine's day so we thought there might be fun activity going on that day.

This morning we tried out the jump place here in town. It is small, but the kids had a ball. Even Callie liked to jump! NO school today.

This afternoon, we took naps (jim, callie and I) while the boys played xbox. Then after getting a few small things done, we made homemade pizza for supper.

We are going to finish the evening cutting out football shaped cookies for the Super bowl! Then we might do a little more vegas research or online shopping for a new computer.

A good day with no church work involved!
