When we finished our basement, we did not have enough funds to complete the ceiling. So we painted it white and made the most of exposed beams. After saving for awhile and watching the deals, we finally started on the ceiling (almost 2 yrs later). Today Jim took down the panels and installed the insulation in the large room! Kyle was elated to get to help. (cloths were used as face masks right after these photos!).

Kyle did a great job measuring, helping cut, and putting the pieces up. Kyle developed new skills with learning to make scrambled eggs today and the insulation project! Conner helped with tearing down the panels and various other little things but we didn't get a picture of it!

Jim got the entire family room insulated. Now we still need to purchase the grid so he can hang that and then finally ceiling tile. Hard to think the basement will be almost done soon. We still plan to add a bathroom and small kitchenette someday, but that will require more serving.
