Kyle and Waterskiing

This past Saturday, we got a chance to go out to the Wahawks ski team lake and ski for the first time this year (that is highly abnormal for us, but the water was so high over the 4th and the cruise kept us away in June). It was especially fun for my niece and Kyle who got to waterski with the boom arm. They both did GREAT! Here are a few pictures of the fun.

Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of Kyle once they moved the weight on the boat over to the other side, raising up the boom arm and allowing Kyle to stand up much better! He skiied several times and once he went out with Mike in the boat by himself to ski. He told me that skiing was TOTALLY awesome.

He is pretty pumped about this weekend because Mike and Denise are going to go to the river with us for our annual friend weekend so he will be able to practice again. He isn't quite ready for the rope (still relys too much on the stability of the boom arm) so this is the only way he can ski for now. Maybe this weekend, hell try the rope! I will let you know.
